The planetary Detroit techno stage superstar, famous by the singles ‘Sonic Destroyer’, ‘The Bells’ and ‘Purpose Maker’, is an artist reaching far beyond being the master of three-deck mixing and creating a simple techno music. He is the man standing behind the techno pioneers Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. He has started his career as a host of a radio show and was nicknamed ‘The Wizard’, until the year 1989 when he formed the house duo Final Cut, in cooperation with Toni Srok. The following period he met Mike Benks, and together they have created one of the most mythical techno collectives - Underground Resistance. Thanks to the genius powerful music mixing technique, together with Laurent Garnier and Cal Cox they have fascinated the global techno stage that was started during the nineties.
His set is based on minimal techno in combination with house funk and soul tracks which make the music suitable for good atmosphere. He is a multimedia artist already proven in the film music area with the projects: “2001, A Space Odyssey” and “Metropolis”, as well as the sculpture installation “Mono” dedicated to Kubrick’s film. He has cooperated with the Montpellier National Orchestra, directed by the composer Rene Kering.
